"Subliminal. In my dreams you are colorful. Firm in my mind like a statue I'm wanting you.." Those words rhythmically bounced into my brain one day, and I walked around with them for almost three weeks. Bad, bad Weysa Dya, because I know better lol. Fortunately, I paid attention and finally wrote them down and allowed the additional words to float to me on their own time. It was sort of ...subliminal (:

The production team for this project, as noted on the label, put me in awe with their creativity and respectively brought a unique vibe to each mix. There is one for each occasion and each mood. So check 'em out!

Weysa Dya - Subliminal [Cyberjamz]

Weysa Dya returns to Cyberjamz with “Subliminal” which features her spoken/rapped vocal. There are three excellent mixes which I’m struggling to describe right now from Solid Noize, Ronnie Ron and my personal pick from Ribheirinho & Blackwax which absolutely nails it! It’s almost a deep riposte to Q-Tip’s “Breathe and Stop” but it’s so much more and it annoys the hell out of me that I can’t find the right words.

This performance was at the Shelley Hotel during the 2009 Winter Music Conference in Miami's South Beach. I always have a good time exchanging energy with the crowd while I'm on stage. I get the chance to sing and dance, and you can't beat that! Plus, the weather was perfect, the seafood was delectable, and the ocean air was intoxicating...:) Enjoy.

I wrote this piece to celebrate those around the world who believe in the power of unity--like minded people stepping over their differences. Forward movers building about making positive changes and then taking action!

Over the years, music has been used to accomplish this. Our era need be no different. Let's connect and ultimately create peace, love, and respect.

DJs Buzzard, Jakdat and Mr. Mama without question provided the tempo to energize your body and mind. So take a listen!

"Connected minds" is an infectious spoken word house track featuring lyrics by Weysa Dya over a funk tinged, deeply thumpin' groove courtesy of DJ Buzzard that is enriched with warm melodic chords and phat synths that altogether create a captivating vibe.

This is a superb deep house offering with a spoken word vocal from Weysa Dya. From a personal perspective it hit’s the spot rather nicely with both the production and vocals proving highly effective. The basic groove is uncomplicated but some of the synths and effects add a hint of the eclectic. Anyone would be well advised to check this one out.

I wrote this piece to be an actual meditation for listeners to vibe to in their still moments, as well as when zoning out on the dance floor. It is a journey toward self-love.

The message is designed to be a reminder that being centered and true to oneself is the foundation of success and feeling good. DJs Aakmael, Beppe Gioia and Mr. Mama created a sublime backdrop for the words in each of their respective mixes. So take a listen. I wish you peace, joy and elevation!

Weysa Dya presents a not to be missed release titled, "Deep House Meditation". It features infectious spoken words with a sexy touch, with Beppe Gioia going deep and hypnotic with an old school twist on the vocal version. His dub is a great alteration on a funked-up tip that features a wonderful intro.

DJ Aakmael goes as deep as it gets, using a rumblin' groove alongside awesome snyth chords to create a mesmerizing moody feel. Lastly, Mr. Mama serves a groovy rework based on a deeply stompin' backdrop that is topped with lovely synths and a great jazzy piano and horns.

All four mixes of this deliver in terms of flavour and atmosphere: overall, I would describe the track as deep and eclectic, but one thing’s for sure: it’s unmistakably house.

In no particular order the mixes come from Beppe Gioia who provides both a vocal and dub, which both have a deep groove with dark beats and some stylish keys alongside the sultry spoken vocals and atmospheric synths. Look out in particular for what sounds like a glockenspiel dropping in and out of the mix. Mr. Mama’s DNY Mix is similarly deep and engaging experience with fluffier beats, more striking synths and brass before some warm keyboard chords that drop in later in the mix. The DJ Aakmael Main Vocal is just like a depth charge going off in your speakers, as the deep synth-driven groove gets inside your mind before Weysa Dya’s vocals finish you off. I have no clear favourite amongst these mixes: depending on venue, audience and timing all of them could work equally well.
